On April 14, a delegation led by Gustavo Sabino Vaca Narvaja, Director of the Center for Sinology Studies at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, visited Shanghai Administration Institute(SAI). Wang Yongjie, Vice President of SAI, hosted the meeting.

Wang Yongjie extended a warm welcome to Mr. Niu Wangdao and his delegation. He introduced the SAI’s key disciplines, graduate education, and international exchange programs, and reviewed its cooperation with Argentine academic institutions as well as its recent interactions with the University of Buenos Aires. Wang noted that SAI is willing to continue leveraging its distinctive strengths to carry out long-term cooperation with the University of Buenos Aires in fields such as politics, economics, and public administration.
Niu Wangdao expressed his gratitude for the warm reception. He introduced the faculty resources and organizational structure of the University of Buenos Aires, with particular emphasis on the newly established Center for Sinology Studies. He expressed hope that, building on previous exchanges and with the Center as a platform, the two sides could elevate their cooperation to a strategic level. He also stated that the University of Buenos Aires is willing to leverage its academic influence and leadership in Argentina to help promote a better understanding of Chinese modernization among Argentine youth.
Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on faculty exchanges, graduate student exchanges, online lectures, and bilateral seminars. After the meeting, the delegation visited SAI’s teaching facilities.
