Recently, Professor WANG Gonglong, Dean of the School of Marxism, SPI, published an English article titled Chinese-style Modernization and Its Global Importance in the Cuban Journal of Public and Business Administration. This article explains the profound connotation of Chinese-style modernization, and discusses its global importance from five aspects: the modernization of a huge population will provide the world with a super-large market; China's advance of common prosperity for all people will drive common development and progress of all countries; China's continuous improvement of people's material and spiritual life will promote exchanges and mutual learning among human civilizations; China's policy of harmonious coexistence between man and nature will promote the world's green and low-carbon transformation; China's path of peaceful development will promote the world's peaceful development; and Chinese-style modernization will promote the progress of human civilization. The article plays a positive role in expanding the impact of Chinese-style modernization in English-speaking countries.
Sponsored by the Cuban Higher School of State and Government Cadres, the Cuban Journal of Public and Business Administration has been published since 2017, with three issues per year. It is included in Latindex, ERIH PLUS, DRJI, Google Scholar, etc., mainly publishing the innovative achievements of the research, good practices and management experience in the field of public and business administration in Cuba and the world.
This article is the first theoretical article published by the teachers of SPI's School of Marxism in an international journal. It is also an important achievement of SPI’s academic exchange trip to Cuba and Mexico at the end of 2023. Cooperative publishing is an important part of the international education in SPI. In the future, SPI will continue to build international cooperation platforms and make more contributions to telling Chinese stories and spreading the voice of China.
