On the afternoon of September 1, Shanghai Party Institute of CPC and　Shanghai Administration Institute held the opening ceremony of the fall semester 2022. HU Wenrong, member of the Standing Committee and director of the Organization Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, and president of  Shanghai Party Institute, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.
 

　　According to Mr. HU, we should study and implement the guiding principles of the speech delivered by General Secretary XI Jinping at the seminar for provincial and ministerial level officials, and develop a good grasp of the essence and core tenets of the speech. We should further enhance our political stance, and keep raising our awareness politically, ideologically, and in action to loyally support the establishment of both Comrade XI Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and the guiding role of XI Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and firmly uphold General Secretary XI Jinping’s core position in both the Party Central Committee and the Party as a whole as well as the authority and centralized, unified leadership of the Party Central Committee. We should draw the great strength from the guiding principles of General Secretary XI Jinping’s speech to boost the development of Shanghai for a new era. Focusing on implementing the arrangements made at the 12th Shanghai Municipal Party Congress and meeting the requirements of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, we should always assume the air and responsibility as a pioneer and forerunner, stick to the people-centered approach, carry forward a fighting spirit and enhance our fighting capacity, remain sober and determined to stand the tests of any kind, keep refining our political character, be ready to bravely take on the burden of the times, equip ourselves with excellent skills, and forge ahead in the new journey for a new era. That is how we should get prepared for the upcoming 20th National Congress of the CPC.
