On the morning of February 25, Singapores Consul-General in Shanghai Chua Teng Hoe visited SAI, accompanied by Political Consul Shuting Yow, to follow up on the subsequent matters of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between SAI and Singapores Public Service Division, and to discuss the details of the cooperation and exchange between Shanghai and Singapore. SAIs Executive Vice President XU Jiangang presided over the meeting, accompanied by Vice President MEI Lihong. The Grade-2 Inspector (in charge of the Division of Civil Servant Training) ZHAO Wen and relevant staff of the Foreign Affairs Division of the SAI attended the meeting.
　　On behalf of SAI, XU Jiangang welcomed Consul-General Chua Teng Hoe and his party. With regard to this years civil servant exchange training program between SAI and Singapores Public Service Division, he suggested that the training mode should be determined according to the development of the pandemic situation. If the epidemic prevention and control permits, an offline training can be organized during September and November. Otherwise, an online training is preferred. In the first half of the year, the two sides may collect topics for the training extensively, focusing on the topics of wide social concerns, such as digital transformation, urban renewal, community governance, and residents old-age care, so as to make the training more targeted.

　　On behalf of the Singapore side, Chua Teng Hoe thanked  SAI for its warm reception, saying that the training plan of SAI was very thoughtful. He hoped that the training forms could be more diverse, e.g., adding interactive exchanges and group discussions to the training, so that the interactions between instructors and trainees and among trainees themselves could be more sufficient, and the training could be more effective.  
　　The two sides also exchanged ideas on the cooperation in other fields.
