On June 25, Shanghai Administration Institute (SAI) arranged two teachers, ZHANG Xiaojie and YE Lan, to participate in the Nevsky Forum hosted by the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
The International scientific forum on public administration Nevsky Forum is an annual academic forum hosted by the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. This year’s forum was held in St. Petersburg. The participants included political leaders, leading scientists and experts in the field of public administration, and representatives of major Russian companies, public organizations and universities, etc. The main topics of the forum were the efficiency and quality of public and municipal management in Russia and other countries, public control, and the use of blockchain technology in public management and digital economy. Due to the pandemic, the forum was held online this year. More than 1,000 people from all over the world participated in the forum, which was huge in scale and had far-reaching influence.
In the forum, Associate Professors ZHANG Xiaojie and YE Lan of SAI participated in the 4th discussion panel which focused on trust and partnership of countries within the framework of integration associations (EEU, SCO, BRICS, ASEAN) for the purpose of multipolar sustainable development. Respectively they delivered the speeches titled Policy Design and Process Assessment of China's Construction of Social Credit System and Ethical Construction and Risk Control of Social Credit Management in Big Data Era. The views and voices of China sent by the two teachers received active responses of the audience.
The North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration is a long-term partner of SAI. This year's forum represents the further deepening of scientific research cooperation between SAI and the Russian North-West Institute of Management under the framework of a memorandum of cooperation. In October this year, the two sides will hold a bilateral international conference on Practical Application of Social Credit System. The result of the cooperation project will be presented in the form of reports and articles.
