On the afternoon of April 13, the China (Shanghai)-Italy Economic and Financial Think Tank Council held a video meeting online. Professor Giovanni Tria, the Italian Chairman of the Think Tank, former Italian Minister of Economy and Finance, and Minister and Economic Advisor of Vaccine Industry Production and Economic Development, attended the meeting. Professor ZENG Jun, Vice President of the SAI, presided over the meeting.

The meeting had an exchange of suggestions on the theme of the second "China (Shanghai)-Italy Economic and Financial Think Tank Forum", and a full discussion on the future development of the Think Tank. The meeting determined that detailed research should be carried out on such topics as green economy, green finance, and circular economic development, and the Think Tank Forum should be held in due course. The meeting had also an exchange on the qualifications and diversified composition of the Think Tank members, and the promotion of online and offline training cooperation as per the epidemic situation.

At the meeting, ten representatives delivered their speeches, including Professor Pasquale Lucio Scandizzo, Chairman of the Italian Open Economics Foundation, Mr. Rosario Strano, Head of the China Strategy Project of the Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, Professor Riccardo Cardilli, Director of the Eurasian Research Center of Sapienza University of Rome, ZHANG Laizhi, Director of the Publicity Divisionof Shanghai Municipal Financial Regulatory Bureau, LIANG Jian, Director of Strategic Development Devision of Lingang Group in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Professor TANG Juelan, Chief Expert of the Chinese Research Team and Director of SAIs Department of Economics, and TU Ye, Director of SAIs Division of External Training.
