Begin with Original Aspiration -- “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind” all-media Party lecture program started recording at the Shanghai Broadcasting Building on June 22. SHEN Wei, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Party Institute of the CPC, attended the launching ceremony of the program recording and delivered a speech.

SHEN Wi pointed out that in the all-media era, the media pattern and dissemination mode have undergone profound changes. The dissemination of Party theories needs to adapt to the new changes and requirements and strive to spread profound theories in a simple language. SHEN Wei emphasized that in order to make the all-media Party lecture program a success, keeping up with the new era is the foundation, paying attention to the “time, degree and effect” is the key, and cooperation and support from all sides is a strong underpinning. It’s hoped that the all-media dissemination will introduce innovative theories of the Party to ordinary people.

The all-media Party lecture program was elaborately produced and launched on the background  of the whole Party’s education drive themed “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind” to implement the general requirements of “keeping the original aspiration in mind, shouldering the mission, finding the gap and focusing on implementation”. It was jointly created by eight outstanding young teachers of SPI, who were LI Zongjian, LIU Jing, CHENG Simin, ZHU Yenan, LIU Bo, YANG Guoqing, CHENG Xi and LUO Junli, together with QIN Chang, a Golden Mike Awards winner and host of Shanghai People’s Broadcasting Station. The program consisted of eight lectures: Igniting Original Aspiration Right Now, Carrying out Radical Reform for the Bigger Picture, Setting up Mind at the Very Beginning, Striving for Greater Achievements Continuously, Taking Firm Strides Forward, Making New Contributions Passionately, Writing a New Chapter with Innovation, and Shouldering Responsibilities Bravely. The lecturers quoted 24 short stories to remind the listeners of their original aspiration, help them think about how to fulfill it and draw inspiration from it. Ultimately, they can bring the original aspiration closer to the hearts after grasping the truth from short stories.

The Party lectures will be distributed on Headline Today, Xigua Video, Tencent Video, Ajmide and other new media platforms in the form of 24 short videos and audios on July 1st. The audio of the Party lectures will be played in Study Hard, a daily column, Wisdom Talks, a weekend column of Shanghai News of Broadcast (FM93.4) of Shanghai People’s Broadcasting Station, Ajmide and the first batch of 36 national radio stations. Shanghai Party-building Service Center will also release related audio and video programs on its online resources.
