YIN Hong: to SpareNo Effort in Implementingthe \"Three New Major Tasks\"and \"Five Key Requirements\"

    On the morning of May 14,a ceremony marking thecompletion of the training session for young and middle-aged cadres on fully implementingthe guidelines from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s addresses made during his visit to Shanghai was held in Shanghai Party Institute of CPC. YINHong, deputy secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and President of Shanghai Party Institute of CPC, attended the ceremony and made a speech. YUShaoliang, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and director of the Organization Department of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, presided over the ceremony.

    YINHong pointed out that the whole cityspares no efforts to implement the "Three New Major Tasks" and "Five Key Requirements" in keeping with the guidelines from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s addresses made during his visit to Shanghai. We need to strengthen our political stand, broaden our visionsprofoundly understand the glorious mission and weighty responsibilities shouldered by us.We must put into practice the guidelinesbyGeneral Secretary Xi Jinpingwith passion, creativity, and courage to bear the weight of responsibility.

    YINHong pointed out that the new journey requires living up to new responsibilities and obsessing new abilities,therefore, it is necessary to continue to maintainself-improvementmore consciously. We must strengthen political ethics, always keep in alignment with theCentral Committee of the CPCfirmly,carry out "Two Maintenance," and reinforce the confidence and determination of overcoming various obstacles and challenges. We must pursue a people-orienteddevelopment philosophy,solve problems of the public concern, and maintain close ties with the peoplethrough concrete action. We must keepthe reformist spirit, have a can-do attitude and try to stayahead of the world, and confront challenges and problems head-on. We must keep in mind the big picture, regard the "Four Bases" as the basis of all our work, and develop Shanghai while serving the country. We must deepen our strategic thinking and seize the first-mover advantage bythinkingof the big picture and with long-term visions. We mustenhance our professional competence and strive for expertise in all fields to ensure scientific and rational decision-making. We must maintain high ethical standards, stick to our ideals and convictions, observe the rules of the CPC, and act with integrity and as a role model. We must deepen bottom-line thinking, strengthen risk management and control, and stick to the bottom line to maintain social harmony and stability effectively.
