From May 24^th to 30^th, on the invitation of Mongolian Peoples Party and Cambodian Peoples Party, as a member of the exchange group of International Department of the CPC Central Committee. Professor Mei Lihong, Provost of Shanghai Party Institute of CPC, led a delegation and visited Mongolia and Cambodia for exchanges and lectures.

The lectures mainly introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era (“Xi Jinping Thought” for short) and briefed the CPCs policies, measures and practices in enforcing a strict rule over the Party, enhancing and improving its ideological and organizational development and the education and training of the Partys cadres, and drawing on local advantages to boost economic and social development and improve peoples well-being, etc.

Successful and well-received, the delegations exchanges and lectures in Mongolia and Cambodia allowed the members to have extensive and profound exchanges with the major political parties and other social circles there.

During their visit, Mr. Xing Haiming, Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia, met Prof. Mei Lihong and the delegation. Prof. Mei then delivered a speech on current China at the embassy.

As Ambassador Xing noted that since the current China-Mongolian relations were on the right track and the interflows between political parties were being enhanced, the exchanges between Mongolian parties and the CPC in governance practices yielded sound results. Prof. Mei Lihongs brief on Xi Jinping Thought and Chinas governance practices made the visit a glorious mission of great significance. Ambassador Xing also expressed his belief that the delegation would communicate the voice of China well and narrate the story of China well so that our Mongolian friends from all walks of life could enhance the understanding of China, Chinese society and CPC, as well as the Chinese peoples resolve and wisdom in choosing their own development path, thus advancing the exchanges between the two peoples.

Prof. Mei presented the current domestic and international situations in her lecture at the embassy with her particular emphasis on the essentials of Xi Jinping Thought and how to guide our internal and external affairs with the Thought.
