On the afternoon of May 11, a spectacular friendly basketball match between the graduate students of Shanghai Party Institute and the students of the University of Alberta was held in the basketball gym of the Sports Center.

The two teams, well-matched in strength, made the match quite fierce. During their perfect cooperation, the team of our institute was leading in the first two sessions. The visiting team responded by adjusting its strategy and got the third session. In the fourth session, the two teams went all out and the scores kept rising alternatively. The situation was really tense. Finally, the visiting team won by a margin of 3 points.

Through this basketball match, the students of China and Canada became closer and got to know each other better. The graduate students of our institute were also actively engaged in the match by cheering for the two teams, showing their warmth, friendliness and positive spirit.
