On the evening of May 5, a special Party lecture with the theme as Responsibility of the Post-90 was held in Fudan University, which was the last lecture of the audio Party lecture series of Introducing Marx to the Post-90s.

The new audio Party lectures, co-planned by Shanghai Party Institute, Shanghai Service Center for Party Construction, Shanghai.people.com.cn, the SMG Radio and AJMIDE, were to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Karl Marx.

One of the highlights of the lectures is that it has fully utilized the modern media characteristics of the "short, adaptable and fast", with a 15-20 minutes audio form for each lecture. By screening an applet on WeChat, one can listen to the audio synchronously. Also, the customized sound effect makes the lecture more vivid, enabling the listeners to know Marx better.

Another highlight is that the 8 speakers are all teachers from the Party Institute who were born in the 1980s. The combination of "post-80s @ post-90s" has rendered the lectures rather young. And it also suggests that the Party Institutes effort in the echelon building of talents in Marxism studies has proved to be productive.

The audio lectures gained more attention and exerted broader impact. In a continuous period of 20 days starting from April 16, in Shanghai News Radio and Dongguang News Radio alone, 13.26m people listened to the 2 offline salons and the audio of 19 lectures of "Introducing Marx to the Post-90s". The 19 short audios were broadcast on 24 provincial and municipal radio stations as well as on AJMIDE, with a total audience of 270m. As of May 5, it had been forwarded immediately by 72 mainstream media. On Baidu, there were nearly 160,000 entries for the term "Introducing Marx to the Post-90s". And there were much more hits throughout the Internet nationwide.

In addition, Twenty Moments of Karl Marx, a spin-off book co-compiled by the 8 lecturers, was officially published by the Shanghai Peoples Publishing House, and a new book launch ceremony was held on May 5.
