On September 29, the cadre delegation of the Panameñista Party, a total of 12 members, visited Shanghai Administration Institute in the company of leaders from International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of CPC and Foreign Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal Peoples Government. Provost MEI Lihong hosted the meeting.

    Ms.MEI Lihong expressed welcome to the delegation. She gave a brief introduction to Shanghai Party Institute and Shanghai Administration Institute in terms of the system, conditions and characteristics of school running, gave a detailed introduction to civil servant training, academic research, policy consultancy and international exchange, etc. and answered the questions raised by delegation members. She hoped both sides would strengthen communication, enhance understanding and promote common development.

    Mr.Adolfo Valderrama, head of the delegation and General Secretary of the Panameñista Party, thanked Shanghai Administration Institute for the reception. He noted that Panameñista Party as the current ruling party laid great emphasis on human resources. He hoped Shanghai Administration Institute would make more contact with relevant academic institutions of Panama to make exchanges and cooperation.

    After the meeting, Ms.MEI Lihong showed the delegation around the teaching facilities and training rooms of the institute.
