On the afternoon of Sept.19, a six-member delegation headed by Vice President of Political Institute of Zone 2 of Vietnam Nguyen Kim Nhung visited SAI. Vice President of SAI GUO Qingsong hosted the meeting.
GUO expressed welcome to the delegation from Vietnam. He noted that SAI and Political Institute of Zone 2 are signed partners with good cooperation records; the two sides have had exchanges and cooperation in various forms, such as delegation visits, and bilateral and multilateral international conferences, and have achieved fruitful results. GUO mentioned that he once visited Ho Chi Minh City and learnt the role of Political Institute of Zone 2 in civil servant training in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam. He hoped that the two sides would strengthen cooperation and academic communication.
Nguyen Kim Nhung thanked SAI for its reception. According to him, he once visited SAI in 2009, and this was his second visit. He felt the rapid development of SAI in each visit. He hoped both sides would expand cooperation fields and make in-depth communication to jointly solve problems faced by both sides in development.
After the meeting, experts and professors from the Department of Party History and Party Building of SAI made exchanges with the delegation members on such topics as power supervision and anti-corruption.
