As Entrusted by the Training Center of Chinese Academy of Governance, Shanghai Administration Institute (SAI) received Israeli senior and intermediate civil servants who came for further study on December 22. The class consisted of 25 senior and intermediate officials from several government departments of Israel, including the Israel Civil Service Commission, Prime Minister`s Office, Ministry of the Interior and Ministry of Transportation.

     On the morning of that day, ZENG Jun, Vice President of Shanghai Administration Institute, met the class members and took group photos with them. The director of the Training Division accompanied to meet the trainees. Professor RONG Zhi from the Teaching and Research Department of Public Management gave a lecture on the theme of “Practices and Experience in Public Management and Public Service of Shanghai”. In the afternoon, the trainees visited the Administrative Service Center of Xuhui District, where they observed its working in the office mode of “Internet + government affairs” and experienced online and offline integrated service of government affairs. The trainees communicated actively with the teachers on such questions as the negative list of SHFTZ, residence permit, introduction of international talents and construction and operation of Shanghai Disneyland Resort, the atmosphere of which was vigorous.

    Mr. Omri Dagan, the monitor of the training class and director of the project of civil servant intern of Israel Civil Service Commission, expressed gratitude for the thoughtful arrangement and warm reception of Shanghai Administration Institute in his address on behalf of the class. He said the themed lecture and on-the-spot teaching impressed and benefited them, triggered their in-depth reflections, and were worth referencing in their future work. The trainees also shared the education system, medical care and housing policies and other information of Israel with the teachers to enhance mutual understanding.
