On October 21, Mr. Guo Qingsong, Vice President of SAI, welcomed the delegation from Taiwan who were participating in the International Conference on Innovation of Science & Technology and Metropolis Economy Transition.

    Guo extended his warm welcome to Taiwan guests. He pointed that Shanghai Administration Institute had been maintaining good relations with partners of Taiwan for many years. They kept close ties and cooperation in many ways, such as academic delegation visiting, holding academic seminars jointly and participating in international conferences mutually. By carrying out the cooperation in the fields of government officials training and human resource development, they promote the human and cultural exchange and academic development for both parties. He appreciated the effort of the delegation in supporting SAI’s conference by presenting high-quality papers and delivering presentations. Guo also introduced the “1+5” group school-running system and education internationalization strategy of SAI, and hoped that both parties could strengthen cooperation to promote the co-development.

    Mr. Qiu Zhichun, Chair of Taiwan Society for Training and Development as well as Professor of Shih Hsin University, appreciated SAI’s reception. He attached great importance to the collaboration between the two parties and was willing to provide any necessary assistance to it. He expected SAI’s international conference on Innovation of Science & Technology and Metropolis Economy Transition to be a success, and believed that they could learn a lot from it. He also extended an invitation and expected SAI to send an academic delegation to Taiwan next year.
