From March 19 to March 20, the Seminar on the Construction of Local Emergency Management Training Base, sponsored by China Society of Emergency Management and undertaken by Shanghai Administration Institute, Shanghai Urban Public Security Emergency Management Training Center, and CHEN Qixing Office at the Decision-making Advisory Research Base of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, was held at Shanghai Administration Institute. Professor MEI Lihong, Dean of Shanghai Administration Institute, attended the seminar and delivered a speech.
The seminar was attended by over 40 representatives engaged in emergency management trainings from administration institutes across China. They had extensive and in-depth communication and discussion on the topics of the 13th Five-Year Plan and innovative development of local emergency management trainings in China, enhancing the layout planning of emergency management training bases, facilitating the cooperation and communication among those training bases, progress in the construction of local emergency management institutes and the scientific researches of institutes to support the emergency management training, building a platform for sharing emergency management training courses, emergency cases and emergency drill plans, promoting the integrating and sharing system for education and training resources and driving the syllabus preparation for emergency management training for provincial and municipal-level leaders. The seminar provides critical reference and guidance for Shanghai Administration Institute to further advance the emergency management trainings for leading cadres.
