Executives of Indian State-owned Enterprises Completion of Research and Study Course on Leadership Elevation at SPI No.5 Branch

    The third class of Research and Study Course on Leadership Elevation for the Executives of Indian State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) completed successfully. The course lasted from December 7th to 11th

    The 16 participants of the course were top executives from large Indian state-owned groups in such industries as petroleum, coal, electricity, shipping and finance, who featured high quality in general, wide field of vision, strong communicative ability, zealous in study and highly attentive to various aspects of China including economic development, legal environment and SOE operation. They had active interactions both in and after class and formed a benign atmosphere for study and exchanges.

    Based on the experience of the previous classes, the teaching and organization of SPI No.5 Branch have become more efficient, and the course preparation by the teachers better-oriented. Several professors of SPI No.5 Branch have taught Indian classes for many times. They made adequate preparation for this class, integrating the latest achievements of deepened SOE reform into the course, which won the participants’ appreciation. Some of the enterprises serving as on-the-spot teaching were also adjusted, so that they would better respond to the participants’ demands, and further improve the understanding and communication.  

    On the completion ceremony, the representatives from both parties delivered enthusiastic speeches, expressing their hope to maintain the excellent cooperative impetus that has formed so far, and jointly promote the ceaseless improvement of the research and study program. It’s the first time for SPI No.5 Branch to hold two classes of research and study for the same overseas program successively within a year. It shows the gradual improvement of the cooperation between SPI No.5 Branch, SAI and Indian party as well as the advancement SPI No.5 Branch and SAI have achieved in international exchange and training. Efforts are made to build Shanghai into a technology and innovation center with global influence and further deepen SOE reform to accelerate the development of enterprises, in the context of which, foreign exchanges and cooperative programs as this will enjoy a long and vital life for its special significance to the era.
