The bilateral international academic seminar on Economic Restructure and Development & Technological Innovation was held on December 7, with Shanghai Administration Institute (SAI) as the sponsor and Shanghai Development Research Institute as the co-sponsor. The seminar was attended by the experts and scholars from National School of Administration(SNA), Commercial University of Luigi Bocconi and the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, and the representatives from Shanghai Administration Institute (SAI), the related departments of the CPC Shanghai Committee and Shanghai Municipal Peoples Government and Shanghai Credit Re-guarantee Corporation. The representatives from Consulate General of the Republic of Italy in Shanghai and Shanghai Office of Italian Trade Commission also attended the seminar.
The whole seminar comprised four sessions. Six experts delivered keynote speeches, which the topics respectively were“Ideas and focus on the construction of scientific and technological innovation center with global influence in Shanghai”, “New Targets and New Strategies for the Science and Technology Innovation Development of Shanghai”, “Problems and Breakthrough Ideas in Scientific and Technological Innovation” and “Docking China Manufacturing 2025 and Developing Intelligent Manufacturing”. Professor Fabrizio Cafaggi from SNA and Dr. Xu Fei, Chairman of Shanghai Credit Re-guarantee Corporation shared the practical experiences of Italy and China in promoting the development of small-and-medium-sized enterprises. The other experts and scholars made an in-depth discussion about the theme of this seminar.
This seminar provided a platform for thorough and in-depth discussions on the new normal for Economic Development in the world and China. The seminar also contributed to both sides of China and Italy to learn from each other in the scientific and technological innovation, financial innovation and business innovation. They are looking forward to further discussions on economic development, public service and social construction in the future.
