As entrusted by the Training Center of Chinese Academy of Governance, the Public Administration Officials of Bolivia visited Shanghai Administration Institute for research and study on November 25 and November 26. This 20-trainee workshop was comprised of judges and lawyers of the Constitutional Court of Bolivia. SHAO Wenhai, the former Director of the Training Center of Chinese Academy of Governance, visited SAI accompanying the workshop.

    On November 25, ZENG Jun, Deputy Principal of SAI, warmly greeted and met the trainees of the workshop. Heads of the Foreign Affairs Department and the Training Center also accompanied the meeting. To meet the course requirements of the workshop, the trainees attended a lecture themed “Building a Socialist Rule of Law Country through Law-Based Governance” by Professor RUAN Chuansheng from the Public Management Department of SAI and exchanged views on issues concerning the judicial reform and legal system construction in China. On the morning of November 26, the trainees visited Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC). Mr. ZHENG Wen, Marketing Director of COMAC, introduced the current research progress of large commercial aircrafts in our country to the trainees, accompanied them in the whole course of the visit to the integrated experimental building of the Design and R&D Center and arranged trainees to board and experience the prototype plane of C919 large passenger jet independently developed by the company.

    LLANOS PEREIRA ALVARO JORGE, the leader of the workshop and the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court of Bolivia, expressed his deep gratitude for the warm reception and course arrangement by Shanghai Administration Institute. The workshop felt quite honored for the invitation to Shanghai, a showcase city in China. Here, all members of the workshop not only witnessed Shanghai’s great achievement since the reform and opening up, and also felt that China, apart from the economic development, was working hard to catch up forthwith in all aspects including the law-based governance.
