Entrusted by the Training Center of Chinese Academy of Governance, on the morning of 11^th, Nov., Shanghai Administration Institute welcomed Mexican Governance Capacity Building Training Class and Cuban Cadre Capacity Building Training Class to research and study.

    The training classes aim to further publicize China’s peaceful development strategy and successful experience of reform and opening up. It is of great significance for the improvement of bilateral friendship between China and Mexico and that between China and Cuba as well as broadening common ground, enhancing mutual trust and expanding cooperation. The training classes are made up of 46 government officials from Mexico and Cuba, among which, 2 are at minister level, 11 department level and 33 division level. Ms. CHENG cize, deputy director of Training Center of Chinese Academy of Governance visited our institute with the classes. Ms. Lisbet Quesada Luna, the consul-general of Cuba in Shanghai participated in class activities.

   ZENG jun, the Deputy Dean of Shanghai Administration Institute, met the trainees with enthusiasm and made a basic introduction of SAI. Professor WANG zhiping, the director of Teaching and Research Department of Economics of SAI gave a lecture themed “The Course and Enlightenment of Opening up and Reform in Shanghai”. The trainees exchanged and discussed with the professor concerning issues including how chemical and manufacturing industry protect the environment, how the ruling party deals with complicated social problems, the system adjustment during Shanghai’s opening-up and reform process, and the role that SAI plays in Shanghai’s development.

    Mr. Francisco Javier Gómez Velázquez, the monitor of Mexican Governance Capacity Building Training Class, the headmaster of National Public Administration Institute and National Government Vocational School, expressed his gratitude toward our warm welcome. He made a brief introduction of Mexican National Public Administration Institute and expressed his wish to establish good cooperation partnership in the future. Ms. Valdes Jimenez Nancy, the monitor of Cuban Cadre Capacity Building Training Class and vice Minister of Domestic Trade Department, pointed out that since 2014, China and Cuba has cooperated in the cadre training and the trainees of this time are officials from manufacturing industry, service industry and schools, who hope to learn China’s practice in development and share their experience in cadre training.

The trainees expressed that the professors in SAI are very serious and the classes are wonderful and quite vivid; the administrative services are considerate, generous and cozy; and the Institute is beautiful and they hoped to come to our institute again.
