From October 11^th to 16^th, SPI No. 5 Branch successfully held the third Training Class of Contemporary Chinese Commercial Mode and Its Operation for Russia”. There were 22 middle-and-senior-managers from large-and-medium-sized enterprises in Russia, who participated in the one-week study and field visits.

    Thanks to the experience accumulated in the past two years, SPI No.5 Branch made elaborate and full preparation for this training class. Firstly, the offered courses had been renewed and improved. The courses, including the “Legal and Business Environment in China”, “Overview of Contemporary Chinas Economy”, “Doing Business in China” and “Case Study of Joint Venture’s Management”, provided trainees with a panoramic view of doing business in China respectively in perspectives of legal background, macro economy, business environment and enterprise cases. Trainers’ careful preparation and wonderful delivery stimulated so great interest of trainees as to lead to active interaction and warm reactions in class.

    Secondly, in terms of the field visit, the training class this year had higher requirements. With more enterprises participating, there were also more types of enterprises for trainees to visit, including some famous state-owned enterprises, e.g. Shanghai Pudong International Container Terminals Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Highly (Group) Co., Ltd., some successful private enterprises, e.g. Shanghai Jielong Industry Group Corporation Limited, some service economy enterprises, e.g. Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, as well as some science and technology R&D institutions, e.g. Shanghai Industrial Technology Institute. These enterprises presented a holistic view of the overall strength of enterprises in Shanghai to trainees and left them a deep impression.

    In addition, in terms of reception, SPI No.5 Branch had good communication relation with trainees and strived to provide considerate service for the trainees from Russia in meals, accommodation, travelling and others in order to ensure that they would not only achieve in the learning, but also genuinely sense the hospitality of Shanghai.

    On October 16^th, as the training class completed successfully, ZHENG Dongyan, Vice-president of SPI No.5 Branch came to congratulate the trainees from Russia for completing the class and then awarded them the certificates of completion. SHEN Ying, head of International Exchange and Training Office of SPI No. 5 Branch, concluded the cooperating results of the training class. The Russian program leader highly appreciated the teaching organization of the training class and expressed great satisfaction with the reception arrangement and service. After years of development, the Training Class of Contemporary Chinese Commercial Mode and Its Operation for Russia has become another sophisticated high-level international exchange program of SPI No. 5 Branch.
