On July 8, Javier De Cicco, consul of the Consulate General of the Argentine Republic in Shanghai, paid an official visit to Shanghai Administration Institute. The Executive Vice President Wang Guoping met him.
Wang welcomed him and reviewed the friendly relationship between SAI and INAP as well as UNGS in Argentina. Wang spoke highly of the Consulate General’s efforts to make the visiting delegation of SAI to Argentina possible in 2014, which was a great success and promoted the bilateral cooperation in civil servants training, public administration and economic development. The cooperative relationship with Brazil and Argentina filled the collaboration gap which had existed between SAI and South America countries, and it made SAI’s internationalized school-running cover all the five continents in the world. To propel further mutual understanding, SAI will send another delegation headed by Mr. Wang Guoping to Argentina and Brazil, to fulfill the initiatives with the institutes in the two countries. SAI is willing to carry out programs in exchange of visiting scholars, inviting experts to give lectures and holding bilateral academic seminars mutually to share the advanced experience in training and administration to benefit the cultivation of quality civil servants in both countries.
Javier expressed his gratitude for being received. He said that SAI was leading the civil servants training in Shanghai and even in China. SAI possessed first-class teaching facilities and was strong in scientific and academic research, which laid a solid foundation for the mutual cooperation between each other. The Consulate will make every effort to support the communications between Argentine civil servants training agencies as well as high learning institutions and SAI. Besides, the Consulate will also help to contact and invite professors and scholars to exchange with the counterparts of SAI and to facilitate visa application in the future.
