Commissioned by the Training Center of Chinese Academy of Governance, Shanghai Administration Institute (SAI) received the governing ability construction seminar from Nepal on the morning of September 15. The 24 participants of the seminar are officials at vice-ministerial level and Director-General level from the Parliament, President’s Office, Prime Minister Office and ministers’ offices. Mr. JIANG Wei, Deputy Director of the Training Center of Chinese Academy of Governance, visited SAI along with the seminar.
The participants attended the special lecture on“Development, Opening and System and Mechanism Innovation of Pudong New Area”at SAI. They expressed their satisfaction with the lecture and believed that the development of Pudong New Area would be inspirational to Nepal. Mr. Thakur Rrasad·Baral, head of the seminar and Chief Secretary of the Parliament of Nepal, said that they could learn from the development history of Pudong and that it was just the purpose of their visit to have communications and exchanges on such experience. He sincerely hoped that China and Nepal would continue such exchanges in the future.
Mr. WANG Guoping, Executive Vice-president, and Mr. ZENG Jun, Vice-President of SAI, met the participants of the seminar on the same day. Mr. WANG Guoping pointed out that all countries in the world, whatever their development stage came to, could be proud of their own development experience and practice. Such foreign-related training programs, supported by China National School of Administration, allowed the world to know more about China and Shanghai, as well as providing us with opportunities to exchange experience and practice with other countries and draw merits from each other. Guests from Nepal were expected to propose as many valuable suggestions as possible on how to improve the training of SAI.
Mr. ZENG Jun, Vice-president, attended the opening ceremony and briefed the participants about SAIs organizational structure, function orientation, training scale, contents of training, training methods and faculty, and the like.
