Commissioned by the Training Center of Chinese Academy of Governance, Shanghai Administration Institute (SAI) received senior officials of Kyrgyzstan coming for training regarding state governance on July 8, 2014. The training group consisted of 29 members from President’s Office, Government General Office, Parliament General Office, Ministry of Justice, State Leadership Bureau, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of Emergency and senior officials stationed at local state offices of the central government of Kyrgyzstan. Mr. CHENG Cize, Deputy Director of the Training Center of Chinese Academy of Governance, was visiting SAI with the training group.
Mr. ZENG Jun, Vice President of SAI,met the members and gave a general introduction of SAI, and indicated that the institute has established a stable partnership with the Academy for Public Administration under the Office of President of Kyrgyzstan. As a member of “Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)”, Kyrgyzstan sent nearly 30 senior officials to SAI, which facilitated in enhancing the cooperation among SCO members and laid a further more solid foundation for bilateral exchanges on public officials training between China and Kyrgyzstan. After that, Associate Professor RONG Zhi from the Public Administration Teaching and Research Department of SAI held a session on the theme of “Practices and Experience of Shanghai in Public Administration and Public Service” with the training group.
Mr. Esenaliev•Sagynbek, head of the training group and office member for the Office of the President of Kyrgyzstan, on behalf of all group members, expressed gratitude to SAI for making the arrangement for training and also said with emotion that what he saw during this visit to China was completely different from what he had imagined. They witnessed the achievements, improved people’s living standard and urban development made by China in recent years. They felt wholeheartedly inspired by the significant economic growth of China.
