The SNA’s main office is in Rome. Education and training courses are held at the School’s facilities in Rome, Acireale, Bologna, Caserta and Reggio Calabria.

The location within the Royal Palace of Caserta also includes a Residential and Study Centre. This 4000 square-meter facility provides sleeping accommodation, catering and meeting rooms.

SNA trainers are responsible for teaching courses at the school. They are drawn from the upper echelons of the Italian PA, universities, the judiciary and legal service and other leading experts in their field.

The SNA considers international activity with regard to professional training as a fundamental part of its activities and supports the commitment of the Italian administration on the international scene to foster innovative approaches, procedures and methods and to train the Public Administration managers and servants on the successful good practice and instruments adopted abroad.

Over the years the SNA has developed a wide network of cooperation with foreign institutions, takes part in international projects and events and actively collaborates with international organizations that deal with training in the Public Administration.

The SNA is a member of the International Association of Schools and Administration Institutes (IASIA), of the European Group for Public Administration (EGPA), and the network of directors of schools and institutes of the public administration of the European Union (DISPA). The SNA also takes part in EU initiatives and United Nations and OCSE programs on the subjects within its competence.

The National School of Administration has partnerships with several institutions, both Italian and international, with the aim to increase the knowledge, skills and relationships necessary for the promotion and renewal of the Public Administrations. Shanghai Administration Institute signed the Memorandum of Understanding with it.

In November 2010, the Memorandum of Understanding between the National School of Administration（SNA）and Shanghai Administration Institute was signed.
